Just Jelly was founded in Whitby, North Yorkshire, when I was 16 years old (I'm now 31!) after my Gran gave me the recipe for her Mint Jelly.

I grew up having Mint Jelly on my roast dinner every Sunday, and one day it dawned upon me that I couldn't find anything like it in the shops. I'd always wanted to start my own business and so I set about looking into how I would do this.

After registering my parents kitchen with the local council (with their permission of course!!), I started making the jelly and added a few more flavours. Just Jelly was born!

I started attending farmers markets in North Yorkshire and sold via small delis and farm shops around the UK (I even had a trip to the Houses of Parliament to showcase Just Jelly!).

With a move to London I had to put a pause on the business. I always knew I would bring it back one day. Fast forward to 2024 and Just Jelly was relaunched and rebranded, still with the same ethos of small batch, quality products for independent retailers.
